Meet Toby: A survivor ready for love ❤️

 

Toby's story began on an abandoned construction site in Uvita, where he and his mother Nova struggled to survive. We may never know how long they lived there - or if Toby was born in those harsh conditions - but we do know it wasn't easy. It took a lot of patience and determination to save them both, but it was worth every effort. Nova has already found her forever home (yay!), and now it's Toby's turn!

 

After settling into a foster home, Toby began to heal. Slowly but surely, he learned to trust people, and with the help of his foster family's dogs, his playful, loving nature began to emerge. Toby's past has left him with some scares, and despite still freezing up when frightened, he never snaps - this little guy is sweet to the core. He just needs someone with patience to help him let go of his difficult memories.

 

Toby is perfect for a home with another playful dog who can serve as his companion and mentor. He is a calm, cuddly soul who blossoms with love, structure and understanding. Toby is neutered, loves to eat and is very smart. He wants to please and is full of potential.
